Meet Tom Coates & Kyla De Graauw
As therapists ourselves, we know how important the right space is. That’s why we created a therapy centre with beautiful, comfortable and safe rooms — the kind of environment clients instantly relax into and therapists feel proud to work from. If you’re looking for a room that elevates your practice, we’d love to welcome you.

Our Vision
The Henley Wellbeing Centre began quite simply.
We first met while renting therapy rooms in the same building. At the time, we were both running our own independent practices, occasionally passing each other between sessions and chatting about our work, different therapeutic approaches, and the realities of private practice.
As those conversations became more frequent, it became clear that we shared many of the same values. We both believed that the environment in which therapy takes place has a meaningful impact on the therapeutic experience. While the relationship between therapist and client is always at the heart of effective therapy, the space itself should help people feel comfortable, safe and able to focus on the work they're there to do.
We also recognised that therapists deserve an environment that supports them too. Therapy is deeply rewarding, but it can also be emotionally demanding. We wanted to create somewhere that felt calm, professional and welcoming—a place where therapists enjoy working, feel part of a supportive community and have the space to do their best work.
As our ideas developed, so did our vision. Rather than simply creating another collection of consulting rooms, we wanted to build a therapy centre that carefully considered the experience of everyone who walks through the door.
That has shaped every decision we've made. From the design of our therapy rooms and waiting area to the way appointments are staggered throughout the day, everything has been planned with the aim of creating a quieter, more comfortable environment for both clients and therapists.
Today, The Henley Wellbeing Centre is home to a growing community of independent psychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists and wellbeing professionals. Alongside providing thoughtfully designed therapy rooms, we also help connect clients with experienced therapists offering support across a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
Although the centre has grown, the principles behind it remain the same: to create an environment where clients feel supported from the moment they arrive, and where therapists have a place they are proud to work.
